Races List~

A possible list Aaron had me cook up. Descriptions can be added after we weed out the wants and don't wants, and add what was missed. Opinions?

My additions/substitutions:

Instead of Dark Elves something more like a goblin/elf. Grayish skin tones pointed ears slitted eyes and sharp teeth/nails. Otherwise completely...human yeah fucking right These would be the guys from Giga and the ones that would be slightly cannibalistic, willing to eat the flesh of other sentient beings or people that piss them off as well as being the only race bold enough to devise and use necromancy. My reason for substituting these guys for "dark elves" is what really makes a dark elf dark? them being evil? then whats the difference between an evil normal elf and a dark elf? not enough to make them a different race in my opinion.

Sprites. A group of small, one foot tall, critters possessing a single elemental or natural type of magic. Incredible magic capabilities, pretty much zero physical prowess. Based off of tree spirits, river spirits, rock spirits things like that. Like mini elves in appearance but slightly transparent, glowing, and having wings. My reason for adding these guys in is because we have nothing that is really like a "fairy" and most of our races can still be physically strong warriors. If we can have giants that have brute strength as their weapon why not pipsqueaks that purely use magic?

In that case, the thread should consist of one post per race, and each race having all the sub-races. I was thinking Three sub-races for half-beast:

• Draconians- Dragon Humanoids; Raw Strength and natural defense, they are very powerful, but slower.
  
• Viera- An all female race, they are somewhat sexist and typically are very highly skilled marksmen. They have an innate ability to jump.
  
• Cat Sith- A cat-humanoid, these creatures are known for being naturally slender, extremely agile, and having silent movements at all times. These creatures have a natural born ability to see in the dark.

  Once again, to sum up the Phantoms, Fallen Angels, and Valkyrie's, three sub races.
  
  Celestia's
  
  
• Fallen Angels- Demons and Angels on earth, taking different roles and having free reign. Their power was stripped once they fell, but they still hold their wings and magic. Their god-like nature had faded, however. Strong Magical Prowess and elemental affiliation with light and dark.
  
  
• Valkyrie's- Guardians of the heavenly order, they are typically unknown and rare. These Celestial beings hail from distant realms, sent to complete a task by entering this realm, and becoming mortal. They are purely woman and are highly combatant.
  
  
• Phantoms- Humans whom have attempted the transformation of their bodies into Fallen Angels. Because of this, their faces and bodies have been purely distorted by the transformation, and their minds wiped of their previous lives. Their bodies are surrounded in a visible dark aura, and their eyes are a strong yellow light. They have a strong affiliation to necromancy.

yeah for the beastmen if you break it up into dragons, only female something and felines then you cant make other animal based characters like dogs/wolfs, rodents, bison... things like that. Mammals, Avian (birds) and reptiles pretty much cover everything other than insects.

with the angles/demons and dragon type characters why would anyone need to summon/have those creatures if they were those creatures? and if someone is possessed by a demon or angel or what ever due to a failed summoning or what not then that could be someone from any race. it's not really a new race, it's a mutated race.
