I don't know if you have a plot idea yet but I do =3 what if we told a short tale of how the world came to be from the perspectives of each nation, each tying in with the center land, and then tell a story of a war that engulfed the known world that was fought for the center land which resulted in a pact between the nations that none would claim it for their own in order to end the wars. The Island was then abandoned and forbidden to be tread upon. Several generations later we are at the present and each country again wants to stake claim on the land for their own various reasons.
